Following the trend of the past few years, the French logistics real estate market has shown a relative over performance, since the take-up in H1 (1.5 million sqm including all transaction of more than 5,000 sqm) have exceeded the average of the past 10 years. There has however been a noticeable decrease compared with the outstanding performance of 2016 and 2017 (one quarter of surfaces in less than 1 year). The Paris region market has therefore reached its lowest level since 2013, whereas at the national level the new developments initiated have decreased this quarter, and in their wake so have XXL transactions.
