Background
 
Oguz Kaan Kalay joined the company in November 2004 as a researcher supporting the leasing and investment department. He lived in Perth, Australia from 2008 and rejoined CBRE Istanbul upon his return in September 2010.
He is responsible for preparing market surveys and research on industrial and office issues. He is specialised in market research and data collection for several existing and underdevelopment real estate projects. He is experienced in the office and industrial market throughout Turkey in general, and in Istanbul in particular. He coordinates research activities within the local and international markets.

Professional Experience

His previous experience of real estate includes activities in local real estate agencies where he spent 5 years in the residential sector, specialising in leasing and sales of high end properties in the select residential neighbourhoods of Istanbul. As a result, he has acquired considerable experience in contract negotiations of all kinds.

Since joining CBRE, he has been involved with many market research projects on behalf of clients such as:
 Eczacibasi – Beiersdorf
 Nike
 Covidien
 Merrill Lynch
 Lehman Brothers

Professional Qualifications

Kaan speaks English fluently and is computer literate, providing IT support to the entire CBRE team. He graduated in Business Administration from the Anatolian University in Turkey, majoring in Economics and Finance.
