Background

Birhan Yıldız is the Associate Director of CB Richard Ellis Turkey. She is responsible for preparing valuation, feasibility and market research studies of industrial properties and project management. Her responsibilities also include investment properties and assisting the agency team. She is bilingual in Turkish and English. She has a detailed knowledge of property markets in all segments of real estate and is experienced in marketing of office, retail, industrial and land premises. She has worked in Turkey and travelled extensively within Europe, UK and America.

Professional Experience

Having gained 3 years experience in architecture with different companies, she joined Colliers International team in Istanbul in 2001. She gained experience in the Office and Residential markets before being promoted to Manager of Agency Services. She set up the industrial, retail and land departments within the agency department between 2003 and 2008. As a result, she has an extensive knowledge of all segments in real estate as well as clients, landlords and properties in Turkey. Before joining CB Richard Ellis, she completed diplomas in real estate finance, development processes, asset and portfolio management, commercial property management and real estate deal analysis. For the last 10 years, she has been involved in all segments of agency services. She has been involved in marketing of A-Class office buildings, warehouses and shopping malls as well as investment properties from each sector. She was responsible for tenant representation services of big international companies such as Shell, 3M, Sanofi-Aventis, Sony, Deutsche Bank, Calyon Bank, Pepsi, Consulate General of Japan, Adidas, Genworth Securities, DHL, NCR, Avea, etc.

Birhan has been involved in many transactions coordinating the sale or leasing of several projects on behalf of many national and international clients, including:
 Leasing of Tekfen Tower office building on behalf of Landlord in Levent
 Leasing of Astoria Shopping Mall on behalf of Landlord in Esentepe
 Sale of A Class office building in Kabataş
